- 1: I don't think kids should be exposed to gay relationships.
- 2: Why not?
- 1: It's introducing children to sexuality! They're too young for that!
- 2: So when a prince and princess kiss in a Disney movie, are they introduced to sexuality? When the prince and the princess get married and have a child, is that introducing your child to sexuality?
- 1: NO! But if they see a man and a man, or a woman and a woman together... they're going to start asking questions! Like how a man and a man can... you know, do anything together.
- 2: You think the only thing people think when they see a gay couple is "I wonder how they have sex"? Furthermore, you think a CHILD is going to even know what that means? When the prince and the princess kiss, does your 4 year old daughter ask, "mommy, how do people have intercourse"? No. She just sees two people in love. If you remember when you were a kid, you probably didn't think about sex every time you saw two people happy together.
- 1: But it'll bring up all kinds of questions, it'll confuse my child!
- 2: Then be a fucking parent and explain it to your child. The only question that might be brought up is "mom, why don't you want gay people to be happy?". And when you don't have a good answer for that question, you can look your child in the eye and say "It's because I'm a bigot".

it’s not your job to entertain him by sending him nudes
it’s not your job to satisfy him sexually because he’s horny
you are not required to do anything that makes you feel uncomfortable or that you don’t want to do
don’t be scared of “loosing him”
he most likely wasn’t anything worth keeping

ronnieinlove said: Hii! Can you please recommend for me an awesome manga/anime? You always post awesome gifs and I want to watch something other than Dragon Ball Z. Thanks!
Aw, thank you so much! I’m so glad you’ve been enjoying the gifs. :D Eeeee, that’s wonderful. And, honestly, I actually only got into anime and manga about six months ago, and I’m not all the familiar with manga; but I can definitely make a stab at an anime list. :)
Baaaaasically, the ones I’ve watched are Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan), Death Note, Hetalia: Axis Powers, No. 6, Ouran High School Host Club, Free!, and Neon Genesis Evangelion. Some are angsty as fuck, and some are adorable… actually, I think Ima just write a little summary list.
Shingeki no Kyojin is what got me into anime in the first place (and, quite honestly, it’s changed my life in countless ways, and I cannot put into words how much I love that world), and I would most definitely suggest it (along with reading the post-anime manga once you’ve watched the anime a couple of times… it’s ongoing, and a new chapter is posted every month, and it’s freaking glorious. I haven’t been this excited about a book since I was seventeen, and waiting for the next Harry Potter novel to come out. [Basically, the anime covers up until about midway through Volume 8 of the manga; and the manga is currently on volume 14, I believe]). All the reasons for why Shingeki no Kyojin is absolutely fucking incredible ♥ can be found here (I made a non-spoilery post squeeing about it… some of the links in the post lead to major spoilers; but the main post itself is safe). Definitely recommend that one first, before ya watch anything else. Warning for serious feels and angst and violence, but it’s all so, so, so worth it. That show’s seriously a work art.
As for the rest of them - Death Note is brilliant, but it will tear out your soul. Seriously. It’s absolutely brutal. Gorgeous and brilliant and amazing, but absolutely brutal. There’s a reason it’s a classic, but warning for serious, serious feels. If you’re gonna watch it, I’d definitely have something happy to watch next, to balance it out; because Death Note fucking hurts.
Hetalia: Axis Powers is cracktastic and beautiful and absolutely amazing. It’s one that makes me happy even when I’m miserable. It’s like… 50-ish little five-minute episodes, I believe? And it’s almost completely always happy. There are some feels, at times, but mostly it’s just adorable and hilarious. Same goes for Ouran High School Host Club. The basic premise seems ridiculous at first, and the first few episodes didn’t grab me immediately; but I promise that it’s worth sticking it out. I ended up falling so in love with all the characters, oh my god. And while there are definitely some feels, it’s another one that makes me laugh to the point of tears.
No. 6 is a wonderfully gay little dystopian anime with… only twelve episodes, I think? The anime’s got a few plot-holes (I think reading the manga first would have helped), but it’s actually amazing how in love you fall with the main characters in such a short period of time. Absolutely head over heels. I’d definitely suggest it - though warnings for some serious feels for that one, too.
As for Free! - it’s another one that’s gloriously gay (if you’ve seen people talking about the ‘gay swimming anime’, that’s the one they mean), and its characters are all fucking beautiful, and it’s incredibly how hard I’ve fallen in the… just under a month that I’ve been watching it? So amazing. Season one is basically all happy gay swimming with best friends, yay!, and then season two gets angsty as fuck about halfway through, so. Warning for that. It’s absolutely brilliant, though. Super adorable and gorgeously animated, with characters that you’ll fall so in love with.
As for Neon Genesis Evangelion - it’s super, superrrr fucked up, and I’d suggest saving it for a future watch, once you’re more familiar with the anime genre. Its… interesting. I didn’t fall in love with it the way I have with the rest, but it’s interesting. And one of the main female characters is so bad-ass and wonderful it makes me want to cry; so that’s awesome. There’s the anime and then there are… I think there are three movies afterwards, to close up the series? Not positive, though. I still need to watch the movies, but I’ve heard they’re pretty messed up, too.
And… yeah. Those would be the ones I’ve watched. :D Like I said, though, I’m super new to anime - so if anyone else wants to add any suggestions, that would be awesome! In the mean time, hope this helps. :)
(Also, the rule with pretty much all anime [you may quite well already know is] is that the Japanese version with English subtitles is pretty much always the way to go. It’s 100% what I would suggest for all the anime on this list. Especially Shingeki no Kyojin and Death Note, but - Japanese audio with English subs is definitely the route to go for all of them. :) )
THANK YOU SO SO SO MUCH!!!!!!
I’LL DEFINITELY WATCH THESE!!
:D :D :D :D

I wanted to investigate some common fandom claims. And I wanted to actually have some numbers.
